Human Resource Training Administrative Assistant

Education/Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess experience or certification in any of the following:

  • 1-3 years working within a Human Resource Department or comparable field
  • 1-3 years computer experience working in Excel, Power Point, Word
  • 1-3 years general office/clerical experience
  • Professional Human Resource Certification
  • College education in Human Resource Management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Driver’s license with good driving record
  • Ability to demonstrate through experience the knowledge required of an Administrative Assistant
  • Excellent interpersonal skills- outgoing and pleasant personality
  • Excellent organizational & communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills in excel, word, Power point, outlook, data entry

Duties:

  • Assist the Apprenticeship/Training Coordinator as required in maintaining and executing all training and apprenticeship programs
  • Assist with attracting applicants for the Apprenticeship programs, through social media, word of mouth advertising, online postings, presentations, tours, job/career fairs
  • Data entry and scanning/filing of all Apprenticeship documents
  • Data entry and scanning/filing of all training documents
  • Assist with set up of all trainings and presentations
  • Occasional audits of apprenticeship classes
  • Preparing/distributing Apprenticeship evaluations
  • Special projects within the HR Department
