Requirements of an Accounting Intern

Actively working toward an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related Business field
Highly proficient in Excel; strong aptitude in math
High level of confidentiality
Professional demeanor; high level of efficiency, accuracy and responsibility
Extremely detail oriented
Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn different areas of accounting for the construction industry

Duties will include:

Shadowing various members of the accounting department as they perform their duties
Assisting with all aspects of the accounting department
Working within our accounting software
Handling sensitive & confidential information with honesty and integrity
Learning how to work as a part of the Accounting team

Service Coordinator

We are seeking to hire a Service Coordinator to provide administrative support to the HVAC Service Department in all areas of operation. This position will be responsible maintaining the Service Technicians daily schedules and dispatching the technicians on call as needed, ordering materials and invoicing customers.  The Service Coordinator will act as a liaison between customer and the company, making sure that customer needs are met, creating a customer to client atmosphere in all interaction with prospective and existing internal and external clients. Education/Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess experience or certification in any of the following:

Dispatching experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical or similar industry preferred
Superior customer service skills
Industry knowledge

Duties for Service Coordinator:

Receive phone calls
Receive work orders & POs from service techs
Enter work orders & POs
Enter & transfer service techs hours to payroll
Place material orders
Price work orders
Invoice customers
Track customer payments/accounts receivable
Assign service vans to service techs
Customer follow-up
Direct, dispatch, schedule & manage daily schedules of HVAC service techs
Maintain on-call service tech schedule
Assign work orders
Track preventative maintenance for customers
VI facilities HVAC maintenance scheduling & tracking
Tracking & management of quotes & proposals
Refrigerant management
Track inventory of tools, materials  & equipment
Matching POs to A/P invoices & approval
Support Service Manager & Mechanical DM in quoting jobs
Other tasks as assigned by management

Low Voltage Technician

We currently have openings for Low Voltage Technicians in our Electrical Division. We are looking for technicians who are willing to work in Central Ohio region.
Requirements of a Low Voltage Technician:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-5 years experience in this trade
• Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and experience of a Low Voltage Technician
• Excellent safety record and the ability to promote a safe and profitable work environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to perform work at varying heights in lifts
• Excellent communication skills
• Willing to travel daily to jobsites in all mobile work locations in Ohio

Duties will include:
• Pulling and installing low voltage type cabling (i.e.—voice, data, security, paging, coax, nurse-call, fiber optic, etc.)
• Cross connect cable
• Perform fiber splicing and termination
• Terminate cable according to color codes
• Test for polarity and connectivity and repair
• Install racks and patch panels
• Set up in computer rooms
• Coordinate and work with other trades on construction jobsites

Requirements of a Project Assistant

High school diploma or equivalent- required

The ability to work well with all levels of management and staff including customers, vendors, contractors

Duties will include:

Assist project management personnel in the administration of construction projects and manage day to day activity for construction projects as assigned by the operations team
Administer hours tracking, material/inventory tracking, rolling completion lists, onsite orientations
Monitor site personnel for timely reporting of attendance
Ensure all employees’ administrative requirements are properly filled
Manage electronic project documents such as contracts, change orders, invoices, reports, safety documentation, email correspondences, O & M Manuals, record and as built drawings, etc and distribute documents to appropriate personnel
Document and track potential change orders, document approved change orders; file electronically and distribute
Submittal review & processing
RFI management
Provide timely and accurate accounting  of invoices and assist with purchase receipts
Handle requests for information and data
Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments for managers and supervisors
Maintain office/jobsite trailer supply inventories
Coordinate maintenance & deliveries of materials and equipment
Review blueprints for equipment locations
Provide clerical/administrative support for project team as requested
Travel to assigned job locations
