VAUGHN INDUSTRIES IS VPP
In 2008 Vaughn Industries, LLC was awarded STAR approval for meeting and exceeding the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program’s (VPP) requirements upheld by the United States Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration. (OSHA) This award emphasizes Vaughn Industries ongoing commitment to safety and health management throughout all of our projects. Approval into VPP is OSHA’s official recognition of the outstanding efforts of employers and employees who have achieved exemplary occupational safety and health. OSHA’s STAR certification was awarded after an extensive inspection process by an OSHA team in 2008. The team conducted onsite reviews of Vaughn Industries organizational, safety and health programs. They also conducted many thorough interviews with employees, and a complete audits of both Vaughn Industries Carey and Lewis Center offices; as well as project sites near the four OSHA offices in Ohio. After the rigorous inspection OSHA deemed Vaughn Industries as having the highest- level of safety and health excellence awarding u
s with the “STAR” approval.
Since our 2008 honor into the OSHA VPP program we have conducted annual self-evaluations per OSHA’s guidelines and have been re-certified twice by a team of OSHA officers. Our re-certification’s occurred once in 2011 and once in 2014 as a result we have maintained our STAR status. During this time we have been recognized by OSHA for our Task Hazard Analysis process.
