A -phase project that required us to swap out (8) 12kv breakers for 1 of 5 banks located in the yard. Once this was completed, we moved up towards the front of the yard where we installed a whole new Bank off 138kv lines that included roughly 100′ box bays with 6 new breakers that used tube bus to tie it all together. We bent(with the help of prefab) and ran roughly 2000′ of 4″ and 2″ tube bus. Poured around 70 piers, 7 breaker foundations, a transformer pad, and some control building piers. We did everything from the below grade to the final touches on above grade. To finish up we will be demoing the old 12kv box bay and capacitor bank and doing some final touches on grading.
