We specialize in installing substations, high voltage preventative maintenance, repairs, and service upgrades for existing facilities, as well as offering 24 hour emergency response.

Our Substation division is versatile in all aspects of above grade station construction. Our team consists of very skilled employees ranging from learning apprentices to seasoned journeyman. We can successfully install any above grade scope ranging from a simple 12kv breaker changeout to a full 765kv Substation. Our crew members keep safety, quality and customer satisfaction in mind with every project.

Our highly skilled employees are well versed in the civil construction of Substations. Vaughn Industries substation division can accomplish a complete Civil package for our customers. Our skills and capabilities range from matting & SWPPP installation and inspection, station grading, complete station grounding systems, cable routing systems and a wide variety of concrete foundations.

We have introduced GPR and 3D scanning to help aid in the construction process and to ensure a final product that meets the highest standards.

Power, Protection & Control

Vaughn Industries has successfully installed many miles of power and control cable. Our experienced employees are capable of meggering, installing new and replacing station relays, terminating power and control cable and testing circuits on every scale. Our team is familiar with station schematics and the role of all protection equipment.

Vaughn Industries has successfully completed miles of underground installations. We continue to be at the forefront of the changing industry by continually training our employees on new standards and practices. Our group is certified by 3M and Prysmiam on splicing and termination. Our employees are experienced in installing cable through conduits and duct bank systems involving confined space.
