Vaughn Industries mobilized to site on the Liberty Benton PK-8 site in September of 2021. Throughout the project we were responsible for the following installs:

• Electrical- consisted of 40,000′ feeder cable , over 500,000′ of branch wire, over 100,000′ of emt, and over 20,000 feet of pvc.
• Fire Alarm
• Technology/Access control and security/central sound – 120,000′ of CAT cabling, 12,000′ of fiber, and over 70 interactive displays were installed.

During the winter of 2021 Vaughn was involved with roughing in the temperature control system of the new Liberty Benton Field House that sits directly west of the new PK-8 building.

At the end of spring in 2022 and throughout the summer Vaughn’s was a part of the remodeling of the Liberty Benton High School. Every light fixture was replaced to LED totaling to over 900 new light fixtures. During this process a new low voltage lighting system was installed replacing toggle switches with touch screens. Make up air units were added to the Gyms and new fire alarm devices were added to the existing system. Technology upgrades were also added into this project with all new CAT cabling, interactive displays, and an upgraded security system that will be installed during the summer of 2023.

Moving towards the summer of 2023, a site package will be starting for a maintenance building that sits at the southern most part of the property that will include extending AEP’s service and setting a vault and new transformer. The PK-8 school will be open for students this fall of 2023.
