Prefabrication
We kicked things off in our state-of-the-art prefabrication facility, where we built custom components with precision and speed. This streamlined approach kept the project moving smoothly, saving time and reducing waste.
Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) & Wood Matting
Environmental responsibility was paramount throughout the project. Vaughn Industries implemented a comprehensive Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan to manage runoff and protect local ecosystems, aligning construction practices with sustainable principles.
To ensure safe access and protect sensitive terrains, our team purchased 28 miles of wooden mats, continuously moving and installing them across the project. These mats provided a stable foundation for heavy equipment, minimized environmental disruption, and enhanced project safety.
Technology and Data Solutions
Modern infrastructure demands cutting-edge technology, and Vaughn Industries delivered. Our team installed 40 miles of fiber optic cable and performed 1,056 fiber optic splices, creating a robust data network that ensures seamless connectivity.
High Voltage Substation Construction
It took 8,540 tons of stone and 1,500 cubic yards of concrete to create a solid, reliable foundation. On this project, we built or enhanced five different substations across multiple counties, ensuring each one was equipped to meet modern energy demands.
High Voltage Transmission & Distribution Line Work
Extending power across the region required expertise and scale. Vaughn Industries erected 450 steel utility poles and installed 120 miles of high voltage wire. Our team made sure the lines were built to last, delivering safe and reliable energy where it’s needed most.
A Unified Effort
This project also required an incredible 115,000 total labor hours, demonstrating our team’s dedication and expertise. By managing all six disciplines in-house, Vaughn Industries ensured a cohesive process, consistent quality, and a result that exceeded client expectations.
