The Gemini – West Moulton project was constructed in 17 months. This new 10 mile single circuit 138kv line will tie the new Gemini station to the existing West Moulton station. This new construction consisted of 120 steel poles, 24 custom poles on foundations along with 96 direct embeds. The new lined paralleled an existing 69kv transmission line and crossed under a 765kv line. This power grid improvement will give the West Moulton station a second 138kv feed which will give the surrounding area the power supply it needs to accommodate future growth.
